Dermal Face Fillers
Scottsdale AZ & Gilbert AZ

Dermal fillers are used to restore the face to a natural and youthful appearance.

About the Injectable Dermal Fillers Procedure

Also called cosmetic facial fillers, dermal fillers have proven anti-aging results without resorting to surgery. They are injected into areas of the face that have lost volume and appear sunken or sagged. They can plump up lips, provide contouring to the chin and jaw, and minimize wrinkles and fine lines.

There are several types of dermal fillers on the market that add volume to the face and smooth it out. Facial fillers last anywhere from three to six months to five years or more, depending on the area being treated and the product used. Some stimulate collagen growth as well.

How to Prepare for Cosmetic Facial Fillers?

Prep for facial fillers is minimal. We will thoroughly clean your face before the procedure.

Avoid taking painkillers and supplements (particularly Vitamin K, fish oil, and Ginko Biloba) and drinking alcohol for one week before the procedure. There is some evidence that eating foods with Vitamin K (spinach, kale) can reduce bruising.

What to Expect From a Facial Fillers Procedure?

We use very thin needles but we can apply ice or a topical anesthetic if you wish. Side effects of facial fillers injections are limited to redness and swelling around the injection site(s) for a few days. You’ll see some results right away, and in full after two weeks.
