Plastic Surgery for Men

Types of Cosmetic Surgery for Men We Offer
1. Facial Rejuvenation
Every facial rejuvenation and facial sculpting surgery available to women is also available to male patients.
When Dr. Rochlin performs facial procedures on a male patient, her goals are quite different as men generally do not want their faces “feminized.” Men tend to want straighter, stronger, more angular facial features than women do. Dr. Rochlin’s techniques are altered to accommodate these objectives while performing men’s facial plastic surgery procedures; she does not try to arch the brows or soften the male features.
2. Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia Surgery)
Gynecomastia is a medical term that comes from the Greek words for women-like breasts. Even though this condition is rarely talked about, it’s actually quite common. Gynecomastia affects an estimated 40 to 60 percent of men; it may affect only one or both breasts. Despite the fact that certain drugs and medical problems have been linked with male breast overdevelopment, there is no known cause in the vast majority of cases.
For men who feel self-conscious about their appearance, breast-reduction surgery can help. The procedure removes fat and/or glandular tissue from the breasts, and in extreme cases, removes excess skin, resulting in a chest that is flatter, firmer, and better contoured.
Regain your confidence with male breast reduction surgery
Male plastic surgery procedures, such as breast reduction surgery, are done in a relaxing and professional environment.

3. Ear Lobe Reconstruction
Earlobes are an important body feature, and unfortunately, sometimes the earlobe can be torn by accident while wearing an earring or can be stretched. The anatomy of it is quite simple, the ear lobe is only skin and fat — there’s no hard cartilage to cut through; that’s why a lobe can tear or stretch so easily. Cosmetic surgery on earlobes can help remove signs of trauma.
Do you need ear lobe reconstruction in Scottsdale, Arizona?
Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Rochlin specializes in ear lobe reconstruction and provides simple yet effective solutions for fixing earlobe issues. Consult with Dr. Rochlin today, to discuss the surgical procedure in detail.
Ear lobe reconstruction procedure
There are several methods used in ear lobe plastic surgery. Most involve removing the skin lining the tear or stretched skin and reducing the size of the lobe. The main idea is to bring the two sides of the lobe together with sutures. Special cuts can be made to promote healing and reshaping without horrible scars. This is all done under local anesthetic.
After the operation, patients should expect to bruise around the area that fades in 2-3 weeks. Pain associated with the operation is minimal and can be easily treated with oral medication. The bandages are only needed for a few days and should be replaced with a lighter dressing.
Refraining from sleeping on the ears is required, and patients are advised to use a very soft pillow. Expect two to three days of recovery before continuing with normal activities. It is advised to avoid using shampoo or other cosmetic products for a few days after the procedure.
Consult with your surgeon before attempting any athletic or precarious activities that may affect the healing process.
4. Abdominal Etching
Body contouring cosmetic surgery for men is also somewhat different. Contrary to women whose trouble spots are usually the hips and thighs, men generally have problems with unwanted abdomen fat and deposits of fat on the side of the lower waste, known as love handles. This is because of gender-related differences in fat distribution.
With men, Dr. Rochlin performs surgery that will enhance their muscular appearing physique. With carefully applied liposuction, narrowing the waistline can enhance the appearance of a “six-pack” abdomen via “abdominal etching.”
