Dr. Elizabeth Nikolic NMB
About me: I love to learn. Any opportunity that I can take to perfect my skills in the field of aesthetic medicine, makes me excited. I am fortunate to do what I love; Aesthetic Medicine. I am passionate about art and science and this career affords me to do both. I wake up every day with two things on my mind; Be thankful and Be grateful. I was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and although I miss the prairies, I have been living in the United States for the past 15 years and wouldn't give up Arizona's sunny days. I enjoy spending time with my husband Jake and our little dog Murphy traveling and exploring the world.
My Mission: Patient care is essential and I believe that I stay true to the values of a great physician, by recognizing that patients want to feel just as good on the outside as they do on the inside. Through patient education and treatment, I love to see how the perception of one's self can change for the positive and give them the confidence to take the next steps in the journey to a healthy life. I am confident that I support my patient's goals in health through slowing down the aging process and opening up conversations about beautiful and natural aesthetic results.
Type of Practice: Aesthetics and Cosmetic Dermatology, Anti-Aging
Education: I graduated from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, with Bachelor of Science in Health Psychology and Human Biology in 2005. I received my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2010 and am a licensed primary care physician and naturopathic medical doctor in the state of Arizona. In addition, I have a degree in Business Management, from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
With over 7 years of aesthetic and anti-aging medical background, I deliver natural and subtle results. I have completed various advanced and master aesthetics injector courses through Galderma, Allergan and Merz Aesthetics. As well as training with some of the world's most well-respected injectors. I completed a preceptorship with one of the valleys premier medical spas, where I also mentored and trained naturopathic students and physicians. I went on to work at the largest cosmetic surgery and fellowship training centers in Arizona, where I worked closely with some of the most well-respected surgeons in the field of cosmetic and plastic surgery. During my time there I was part of an IRB approved study utilizing Adipose Derived Stem Cells (Autologous Stromal Vascular Fraction) for use in Regenerative Medicine through the Cell Surgical Network in Los Angeles, California, where I also received training in mini liposuction (syringe method adipose tissue harvesting) from world-renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Mark Berman MD.
